Delicate Arch
This is one of the most photographed scenes in Arches National Park. It is a fun and pretty short hike to the arch.

Elk in Rocky Mountain National Park
The elk follow a strict schedule of grazing off the entrance road around 5:30-7:30 then immediately head to town for a coffee stop.

Bryce Canyon Mule Ride
This is our guide Ty for the half day mule ride of Bryce Canyon. It was a fun ride down in the canyon. Overall a pretty good outing, but in the last 20 yards of the ride my stallion (mule name Renae) decided to trip, tossing me over her head. Luckily my summer-salt skills are second to none. Renae and I are no longer friends.

View of the Rockies
This was taken in Rocky Mountain National Park. The morning started off with the intention of going up Lookout Mountain in the southwestern area of the park. We ended up taking a right instead of a left, and I'm pretty sure we ended up on Meeker Ridge. The view was great nonetheless.

Red Rock Canyon National Recreation Area
The photo about was taken about half way through the 13 mile scenic loop road through the recreation area. The canyon in the center of the photo is Oak Creek Canyon. Mount Wilson is on the left and Rainbow Mountain is on the Right.
Below is a photo taken at Sandstone Quarry (before this view on the one way road.) There is a stunning mix of red and white sandstone. Some of climbs in this today are fun because you start on white rock and then finish the climb on bright red rock.

Top of the Flatiron
This is the top of the first Flatiron in Boulder Colorado. They were pretty fun to climb, but also offered sweet colors and views from the summit. It was a pretty climb up the easy face, but it was long (1,000+ feet) and at times humbling. I thought I was moving pretty quickly, but was lapped by two free solo-ers, one of whom was in sneakers. Yup... welcome to Boulder.
Old Paria
This is a great side trip off route 89 in southern Utah. It is located between Page, AZ, and Kanab, UT. It used to be the site of a movie set, but sadly, it appears not to be there any more. The sandstone formations are incredibly colorful.

Antelope Canyon
These photos were taken in Antelope Canyon in the Navajo Reservation in Page, AZ. It is slot canyon that includes an upper and lower canyon. These photos were taken of the upper canyon. Entrance requires guided tours to enter the canyon. Despite no people in any of the shots, it is shocking how many people they can pack in this small space.
